Join us for our 8-week training program and gain the skills and confidence to cross the Trek Women's Triathlon finish line, regardless of your fitness level or triathlon experience. Have fun, get fit and learn new skills with the help of the supportive coaches and workout leaders. Make friends and meet training partners by participating in coached group workouts with other women training for the Trek Women's Triathlon, the Danskin Women's Triathlon or other sprint races.
Each training session includes education on a variety of topics including biomechanics involved with swimming, biking and running, along with efficiency in transitions, race-day preparation and other triathlon skills. Workouts vary from 30-90 minutes. The training sessions will take place in a variety of locations in north-central San Antonio.

Bio: Ashley is co-owner of Run Gear Run in San Antonio. She has participated in running, triathlon and Masters swimming for five years and loves to introduce the sports to new athletes. Ashley is also a part-time college instructor and mother of four, and can provide multi-tasking tips upon request.

Bio: Amber is co-owner of Run Gear Run in San Antonio. She is a triathlete, Masters swimmer and has recently begun competitive water polo play. Amber was motivated to train for the Danskin Women's Triathlon when her twin boys were 3 years old, and it changed her life forever! Eight years later she is an avid athlete and loves to share the life-changing impact of triathlon with other women.
